Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2014 Engelgarten opens with ripe and intense, well-concentrated lemon fruit along with flinty and floral notes. Round and elegant, this is still a bit reductive on the palate, due the long lees aging (which took two years), but it has good juiciness and fine tannin structure. This is a stimulatingly fresh and racy (Riesling) wine with a good grip and tension. It is still far too young to be drunk too soon. The 2014 fermented very slow and was bottled only after two years.
